This project focused on creating access to technology by generating demand for environment and disaster data to support day-to-day decision-making. Through a study of 60 data mining agencies, the project identified challenges and solutions for quality data generation, leading to a national dialogue involving various stakeholders. Tailor-made programs for government institutions, schools, the general public, and media were conducted to enhance data accessibility and interpretation. The initiative aimed to promote sustainable environmental benefits and disaster risk reduction, ultimately receiving a “Satisfactory rating” from UNDP for its impact.
